This year we have chosen to use a truly stunning car for the display.
We won’t give too much away but hopefully you’ll like our themed stand!
We built this car earlier in 2015 for Simon and Heather Beedham.
Their main objective was to build a really well restored car with some stand out features, the car doesn’t drive too many miles and is really well cared for.
We started off with a great Pale Aqua Figaro, with only 35k miles and a clean body, it was already unusual. As the years go by its becoming harder and harder to find cars in good condition with low miles.
The car has been completely stripped right down to a shell, to begin its been thoroughly overhauled throughout the mechanics, suspension and braking system. All new parts have been fitted.
Following this all paintwork was renewed, on this car we painted the main pale aqua body, all the door shuts, the bonnet and the engine bay. It’s got a great, fresh look to it.
Then the re assembly begun, using re chromed brightwork, restored trims and fixings. All parts were removed, restored, cleaned or replaced and then put back.
The interior is one of the most stunning areas, using a ‘sky blue’ Scottish leather, picked by Simon and Heather, we re trimmed the inside. Its got some amazing features like the glovebox upholstery and stunning fluted rear seats. We even managed to match the leather thread to the sky blue leather.
