After over a year of testing different finishing processes we are pleased to announce that we have found a technique that replicates the original lamps.
We strip the lamps down to a shell and remove the old plating, once re coated with the chrome finishing we cover them with a UV resistant coating to give them a hard wearing protection.
Although the finish is not exactly as smooth as the originals the lamps look great and don’t seem out of place. The chrome finish is also clean in colour unlike the yellow or purple haze that sometimes appears with similar techniques.
The lamps are available as singles and also in sets of four. They are on exchange so you need to send us the old ones back once you have fitted them. You then get a refund on your surcharge.
