This is Elliot Campbell, and here he is preparing his entry for the best apprentice painter in the UK!

Many of you have met Elliot over the years at the various shows and events or here at the shop. Elliot started with us in 2013 and alongside his college we have been training him as a painter.

We’re very proud of what he has achieved and I’m sure you will agree that the Figaro paintwork he produces looks amazing!

For the competition, he is using a bonnet to show off his skills. After stripping the bonnet and starting to fill any remaining dents and imperfections, he has primed and painted the bonnet in this special design.

UPDATE:

Last week the final 4 were judged by industry experts and the panel announced Elliot as the Winner!

We are all so happy for him.

He will be given his award on stage at the NEC on October the 31st.

Elliot started with us when he was 16 and did not have any experience working on cars, at the time it wasn’t even something he studied.

Through his hard work, along with the dedication of his team Elliot is now an award-winning painter and we are so proud we played a part in that.

Thank you to everyone that voted in the preliminary public votes, along with Elliot we look forward to painting many more Figaros.
