As every Figaro owner knows carpets in these great little cars can let them down a bit. They are nearly always faded and often seem to sport stains and cigarette burns which are very hard to remove. Over the years different dyes have been available but the finishes and durability havnt ever been that impressive.
Over the past few months The Figaro Shop team has been prototyping different designs and carpet types in order to come up with a kit. We have now finished the research and just fitted the first of the production carpets, we couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
To aid with DIY fitting our carpets come in sections and are glued in, similar to the way companies like Rolls Royce fitted all the carpets in the classic vehicles.
The carpets are available in the original shades as well as wide selection of other colours. On top of this there is a range of materials, all deep pile carpet but with different densities and options on manmade and natural wool tuft.
All the carpets will be pre backed with sound deadening, have piping to reflect the colour and can also have a heel pad fitted. They will come with fitting instructions.
DIY kits range from £277.19 to £483.99 depending on the pile you go for.
These are certainly in different league from re dyed originals that have been the only thing available up until now.
