Sometimes we work on a ‘non-Figaro’ project here at The Figaro Shop that we are so proud of we just have to share it with you.
Tanya came to us with a Honda CRX that she has owned since 1993. In this short video watch us build this car back up again from a bare shell with a full ‘rotisserie’ refurbishment.
We started off by hand making lots of panels that we were not able to buy, and then painted it area by area to ensure a perfect, gleaming, black finish inside and out to make it look factory fresh. We also used a rusty donor car to re-use parts like the lights and some fixings.
Next was a full reconditioning of the engine before we dropped it back into the freshly painted engine bay. It was a great day when the engine first turned over once again!
After extensive road testing and fine tuning it was then time to present it back to Tanya in a very emotional reunion which you can see in the video! #honda #hondacrx #crx
