State Funeral – 19th September 2022
Following the sad news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II last week, it has been announced that the State Funeral will take place on Monday 19 September 2022.
The Figaro Shop will be closed on this day as a mark of respect and to commemorate Her Majesty’s dedication to duty and incredible 70 year reign faithfully serving this nation as Sovereign. This means that our offices and phone lines will be closed on Monday 19 September. Any enquiries received during the day of the State Funeral will be dealt with promptly on our return to the office on Tuesday 20th September.
For almost all of us, she was the only Monarch and Head of State we have ever known, so the 19th will be a day to celebrate her life. We trust that you understand that we wish to allow everyone at The Figaro Shop the opportunity to pay their respects to our late Queen, along with the rest of the nation, and to mark this unique moment in our national history.
