Nissan Figaro Injector Resistor Ballast – Used

The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a 4 cylinder, turbocharged and fuel injected MA10ET powerplant designed specifically for the chassis. The vehicle uses what are known as “high impedence” injectors and for those injectors to work without burning out the injector drivers in the vehicles ECU, a resistor ballast must be used. Located in the upper passenger side of the engine bay, the resistor ballast changes the resistance to match the injectors allowing for smooth operation. These ballasts can fail over time causing injector firing issues, misfires and non start issues. Replacing this can be done at home in around 10 minutes and requires no special tools.
