Nissan Figaro Steering Rack Fitting Kit

The Nissan Figaro suffers from a weak steering rack and over time, they tend to leak causing rack and power steering pump failure. The steering rack is one of the main components of the power steering system and is fed by high pressure hydraulic fluid to assist in turning the wheels to the left and to the right. It is directly connected to the vehicles front hubs and converts the input from your steering wheel, through the steering column and to the rack which is in turn connected to the vehicles front hubs. Without this hydraulic assist, the steering would be exceptionally heavy and difficult to drive.

When fitting a newly recondition steering rack, there are other components needed to ensure the rack installation is complete and allow for a long lifespan.
