Nissan Figaro Gearbox Filter Kit

The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a turbocharged, 4 cylinder, fuel injected MA10ET engine mated to a 3 speed automatic gearbox with model specific gear ratios to suit the vehicles power output. This silky smooth gearbox was the perfect choice when new but over time, the gearbox can begin to become clunky, jerky on gear shifts, lose power in gear, noisy and in the worst cases, become completely undriveable.

Servicing the gearbox before it gets to the point of becoming undriveable is a cost effective way of prolonging the life of the aging transmission. Here at The Figaro Shop we have put together a gearbox filter kit that will allow you to remove the gearbox oil sump and replace the gearbox filter, gearbox filter gasket and gearbox sump gasket included in the kit before refilling with fresh automatic transmission fluid.

Please note: A newer style gearbox filter is include in the kit as pictured. This is visually different to the original but will work in the same way. You will be required to massage the recess in the sump slightly or tighten the sump up gradually to cause a seal. Tried and tested in over 100 applications and works perfectly.
