The Nissan Figaro is equipped with an external ignition coil mounted to the bulkhead in the engine bay. This small yet powerful module has the ability to recieve 12v+ from the vehicles’ electrical system and output many thousands of volts transferred along the King lead to the distributor which in turn distributes this high voltage power to each spark plug ensuring a clean and bright spark to ignite the fuel/air mix.

As the igniton coils age, they have a tendancy of breaking down causing random misfires, poor starting, causing spark plugs to foul easily and in the worst cases, become completely inoperative. Here at The Figaro shop we are able to supply new and used ignition coils from stock ready to be fitted to the vehicle.
