The ignition leads on a vehicle are designed to distribute powerful ignition current from the distributor to each individual spark plug to ignite the fuel/air mix inside the combustions chamber. Over time, the ignition leads can wear, crack or break down offering a less intense and efficient spark which can cause misfires, low power and poor mpg.
The ignition leads fitted to the Nissan Figaro are specific to the MA10ET engine and are not the same as the Micra the Figaro shares its platform with. The oem equivalent aftermarket leads offer a cost effective set of leads which, although are not as high quality as the upgraded leads available HERE, are a direct replacement for the originals.
