The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a turbocharged, 987cc 4 cylinder, 8 valve engine that is specifically designed for the chassis. The engines 8 valves, 4 inlet and 4 exhaust, are located in the cylinder head and are controlled by the camshaft. These valves are critical in ensuring an air/fuel mix is allowed into the combustion chambers, close to combust that mix and open to allow the exhaust of the spent gas out of the exhaust system. Over time, the valves can become coked and damaged causing a loss of compression and no longer have the ability to open and close correctly.

Here at The Figaro Shop, we are able to supply replacement valves as a direct replacement for the original worn items. Used in our own engine rebuilds, the valves have stood the test of time and are of the highest quality matching the oem items. The valves are a great item to inspect and replace when undertaking a head gasket change or engine rebuild.

There are 4 inlet valves and 4 exhaust valves. This is for 1 inlet valve only and we always recommend changing all 4 at the same time in the interest of balance and efficiency. Please select the quantity required when ordering.
