Description
The Nissan Figaro employs the use of a relatively simplified electrical system that allows for the reliable function of each electrical circuit. Certain basic low current circuits do not require the use of a relay whereas other more current dependent systems do. These main systems are fed electrical power directly through a relay.
The Nissan Figaro has 5 main relays located in the engine bay, 3 in the under dash fuse box, one on the passenger side for the A/C, 2 relays in the drivers side rear 1/4 panel and one towards the centre of the dash for the horn. In the engine bay, there are 2 blue relays on the drivers side (Right hand side) behind the power steering reservoir and 2 green relays along with a single blue relay on the passenger side (Left Hand Side) tucked to the side of the airbox. On the fuse box, the 2 main grey relays. The rear 1/4 houses 2 black relays for the electric aerial.
There functions are as follows:
Engine Bay
Drivers Side:
BLUE – Power Window Relay (forward location)
BLUE – Fan Motor Relay (1 speed) (rearward location)
Passenger Side:
GREEN – ECU Control Relay (forward location)
GREEN – Fuel Pump Relay (rearward location)
BLUE – Fan Motor Relay (1 speed) (rearward location)
Fuse Box:
Grey: Ignition Circuit
Grey: Starter/Inhibiter
Passenger Side Under Dash:
Brown (multi pin): A/C Control
Drivers Side Rear 1/4 Panel:
Black x2: Electric Aerial Control
Centre Dash:
Grey (blue base) 3 pin: Horn
If one of these systems controlled by each relay fails to operate, check fuses first and then check the function of the relay. These can be swapped with one of the same colour to test function. You must replace the relay with one of the same colour. Please see the diagram in the gallery images for location clarification.
Please choose the relay colour you require using the tick boxes
