Nissan Figaro Ignition Barrel Shear Bolt (Pair)

Description

The Nissan Figaro was factory fitted with shear bolts attaching the ignition barrel assembly to the column. These shear bolts are another level of security to stop potential thieves from easily removing the ignition barrel which releases the column lock allowing thieves to easily steal the vehicle.

If the barrel assembly needs removing for replacement or column failure, the smooth head of the recessed shear bolt will need to either be welded or hit with a punch to remove. Replacing them will require either the use of a cap head bolt which is easily removed by a potential thief or using the original Genuine Nissan Figaro Shear Bolts.

Sold as a pair (2 are required for the ignition barrel), these shear bolts are a direct replacement for the original and the bolt head will shear off when fully tightened making the barrel as secure as possible by design.
