Nissan Figaro Left Hand Drive Headlight Conversion

The Nissan Figaro has gained worldwide popularity due to its cult status meaning that more are being registered in multiple countries around the world. As the Nissan Figaro was designed for the Japanese Domestic Market only and being Right Hand Drive, the headlights are also designed for a Right Hand Drive vehicle. The lights are designed to dip on the right to avoid blinding oncoming traffic and focus more light to the middle and left of the road.

When using the vehicle in a Left Hand Drive area such as the USA or most of Europe, the R.H.D headlights can make for less visibility and can cause oncoming traffic to be blinded. Here at The Figaro Shop, we have put together an “E” Marked LHD conversion kit that replaces the dated refracted original glass lighting assemblies with all new polycarbonate reflective style units. Not only do they deflect light specifically for LHD applications, but also emit a cleaner light by design with a more accurate beam pattern from the modern units. They are designed to be a direct replacement for the originals with the exception of their size. The original units are 7.5″ and the all new units are 7″ leaving a small but acceptable gap to the surround as can be seen in the gallery images. Being “E” marked, these can be legally used in countries that specifically require them such as Luxembourg, Germany and Spain to facilitate registration.
