The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a 987cc fuel injected turbocharged MA10ET engine which is perfectly suited to the vehicle. As the engine is around 30 years old, wear and tear can have an adverse affect on the performance and reliability of the powerplant and these effects can sometimes cause catastrophic failures. This can be due to poor previous maintenance, overheating from a cooling system failure or just age.

Here at the Figaro Shop, we pride ourselves on our ability to recondition complete engines to the highest standard but we do understand that sometimes this is not cost effective for our international customers due to shipping costs for an engine and the cost of the core charges. With this in mind, we are happy to now be able to supply a complete and comprehensive engine overhaul kit allowing our customers to have their MA10ET Nissan Figaro engines rebuilt using the highest quality parts locally by their chosen qualified technicians. This kit includes all of the highest quality components that are used by ourselves in our specialist workshops ensuring you have the correct parts for your rebuild to promote the highest reliability without the need to source individual parts from multiple suppliers. The engine overhaul kit benefits from a great cost saving as well.

When overhauling any engine, you may find that more parts may be needed on top of the list above, If you require any advice or any extra components, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will be able to assist you further. Here is also a list of the tightening torque values needed for critical components during the rebuild:

• Head Bolts: Stage 1 = 29 LB/FT – Stage 2 = 47 LB/FT
• Big End =  25 LB/FT
• Mains = 38 LB/FT
• Flywheel = 51 LB/FT
• Piston to Wall Clearance 0.02-0.04mm

Original Crank Sizing:

Big ends 39.97

Mains 44.97

*Please note that there is no tolerance on these sizes. If your crank differentiates by even 0.01mm, we advise oversize bearings*
