Nissan Figaro New Aluminium Fuel Tank

The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a steel fuel tank housing a high pressure pump feeding fuel to the fuel injected MA10 Turbocharged engine.

As the vehicle ages, corrosion sets in to both the inside and outside of the fuel tank causing rust debris to contaminate the fuel pump causing failures and leaking of the fuel tank due to porosity. With the introduction of higher percentage ethanol fuels, this corrosion is being accelerated causing a number of failures with the aged tank.

Here at The Figaro Shop, we are proud to be at the forefront of parts development for the Nissan Figaro and are now able to offer a completely new Aluminium fuel tank as a direct replacement for the original. The use of aluminium instead of steel means a maintenance free part that can be fitted with or without a new fuel pump (new pump kit recommended) and will utilise all the original fixing points and pipework allowing for a direct fit and forget component. The tank comes included with a new fuel pump O-ring to seal your fuel pump cradle to the tank

Manufactured in the UK using CAD, laser cut aluminium and CNC folding allows for the utmost accuracy and safety of the new tank.
