Nissan Figaro Rear Exhaust Silencer Band/Bracket

Description

The Nissan Figaros’ exhaust system is supported using 4 hanging rubbers underneath the vehicle. The hangers isolate noise, support the weight of the exhaust system and are designed to allow a degree of movement so as not to stress the exhaust causing it to break. The hangers on the rear seaction of the exhaust and attached to a rear exhaust band – the band is bolted tightly to the diameter of the the back box giving mounting points for the exhaust. This is an original design by Nissan and over time, the steel exhuast band tends to corrode and break causing the rear section to drop as it is no longer supported.

The rear exhaust band is designed to fit original rear boxes only and is a direct replacement of the original. Manufactured in the UK from a high grade steel, the band measures approximately 16.5cm and comes complete with the fixing hardware to attach to the original back box. Most aftermarket back box section have brackets welded to them. This design is inferior and have a tendancy of snapping over time. The rear band is a replaceable part giving the rear section a much longer lifespan.
