Nissan Figaro Rebuilt Turbocharger (original) & Fitting Kit

The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a turbocharger allowing the engine to produce more power, torque, acceleration and fuel economy from the 987cc powerplant. The turbocharger works by using spent exhaust gas to spin a turbine which in turn forces air in the the engine to produce power. Over time, the turbocharger can fail in a number of ways which can result in play within the shaft of the unit, failed bearings making it difficult to rotate, damaged oil seals causing it to burn oil and general inefficiency which can eventually damage the engine.

The turbocharger supplied is a rebuilt original unit. Here at The Figaro Shop, we strip an original turbocharger down, clean and blast both hot and cold side castings and rebuilt with an all new, fully assembled and balanced turbo cartridge. The cartridge includes both impellers, bearings, casings etc.   Being an original casing, it is a direct replacement of the original and comes complete with a comprehensive fitting kit to aid installation. Once the new unit is fitted, the engines power delivery will feel smoother, quieter and far more enjoyable to drive as was intended when the Nissan Figaro was first manufactured. The Turbo comes with a 12 month warranty and is also supplied with a new stainless steel braided oil feed line to replace the original metal one which is prone to clogging up with carbon deposits blocking the important oil feed to the turbochargers wet floating bearings that causes catastrophic failure. Also included are the 4 studs and nuts to fit the turbo to the catalytic converter / de-cat pipe or manifold , the gasket between the catalytic converter / de-cat and the turbo and the coolant return pipe from the turbo unit.
