This original suspension design does have its drawbacks as the vehicle can feel a little unstable round corners with a high degree of body roll, unstable at speed and excessive suspension travel. Coilover suspension is a broad term used for the suspension design. It translates as “Spring Coil Over Shock Absorber” which the Nissan Pao is equipped with from factory but this all new design is far from a factory setup. Over the past 2 years, we at The Figaro Shop have been designing and testing our all new uprated coilover suspension system to ensure a perfect fit, reliability, comfort and most importantly performance. Proudly designed and manufactured in the UK, the exclusive coilover system has a range of features including, gas filled dampers, on car height adjustability and damping adjustment meaning that you can raise or lower the height of your Nissan Pao with basic tools included in the kit and adjust the damping rate from hard to soft is easy increments. This is truly a gamechanger for the platform as we are now very proud to offer this to all of our customers who would like their Pao to benefit from a lower ride height with increased safety, stability and road holding, particularly when using our full suspension overhaul kit featuring new trailing arms and optional sway bar.

The upgraded coilover system ranges from -10mm ride height to over -70mm ride height adjustment thanks to shortened and widened shock bodies which are zinc coated for ultimate corrosion resistance and are equipped with aluminium hardware. Within the comprehensive suspension overhaul kit, the bespoke springs are manufactured exclusively for the platform application and are powder coated to ensure a long lifespan meaning they are truly a fit and forget component allowing a vast range of adjustability. Custom made anodized billet aluminium top mounts with spherical bearings replace the original rubber items are also included for the ultimate in road holding and safety. The full kit includes all 4 coilover shocks, springs, mountings and tools for adjusting height and can also be fitted to the Micra/March K10 and Figaro.

We have put together a package to overhaul and upgrade all the major suspension components on your Pao. The kit includes the new rear trailing arms with polyurethane bushes with new retaining hardware, front lower control arm wishbones and a set of our exclusive coilover suspension systems. There is also an option to add a rear anti roll / sway bar from the Nissan Figaro.
