Description

The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a low compression, fuel injected turbocharged MA10ET 987cc 4 cylinder powerplant which is perfectly suited to the chassis. This model specific engine utilises lower compression pistons, as well a lower compression cylinder head to cope with the extra pressure created from the turbocharger. Over time, the engine will suffer wear and tear and a very common issue are the piston rings wearing out causing oil burning issues and a loss of power.

When rebuilding an engine, fitting the highest quality parts not only ensures reliability but also a perfect fitment. The piston rings are designed to ensure the piston seals to the cylinder walls, retains compression and controls oil to lubricate the piston against the cylinder to reduce wear. The pistons rings are offered in 2 sizes depending on the size of the pistons fitted to the engine, standard size or 0.5mm oversize. Please select the size required from the drop down options menu.
