The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a manual retractible roof by design but due to its year of manufacture, Nissan have also equipped the mechanism with electronic safety measures to ensure the occupants are aware of any issues.

The roof control module on the Nissan Figaro controls the upper boot solenoids and roof safety protocols for the mechanism including warning when the upper boot is not closed or the roof is not latched. Failures of the control module can include the upper boot solenoid button not working, beeping/no beeping etc. The failures of this module are usually caused by water ingress as module is located in the rear 1/4 panel of the vehicle behind the plastic trim. Once accessed, the module is very simple to exchange and all the units we have stock of have been tested prior to removal for full operation.
