Description

The water pump in any engine is an intergral component of the vehicles’ cooling system. The pump on a Nissan Figaro is driven by the timing belt which in turn rotates an impeller to push coolant around the head and the block of the engine in order to regulate its temperature. Over time, the water pumps can fail and cause the engine to overheat. This failure can be catastophic to the engine and we always recommend inspecting the pump and replacing when changing the timing belt.
