One of our more recent projects was the refurbishing of Kevin Fagan’s Figaro Owners Club Car. Kevin is the founder of the Figaro Owners Club and we were delighted when he choose The Figaro Shop to carry out this work.
Our brief was to carry out a few mechanical items and to perform a little cosmetic enhancement in preparation for a number of Figaro Owner’s Club rallies that are scheduled to take place all over Europe throughout 2013.
As with all our refurbishment projects, we start with a complete examination of the mechanical aspects of the car.
The car was in excellent condition, as we would expect, and we performed a full service, replaced the cam belt, and replaced the brakes.
On the cosmetic side, we carried out some enhancements to the chrome work and to the other exterior trims.
We then replaced the cracked dashboard and installed a fully Italian leather one that looks absolutely stunning. As part of this project work, we photographed our trained mechanics carrying out this dashboard replacement to feature as a “How To” Guide on the Figaro Owner’s Club website.
