The Genuine Nissan Figaro top mounts are a critical component of the front suspension of the vehicle. They are designed to not only attach the top of the shock absorber to the vehicle body but to also isolate the shock absorber through a double bush within the housing of the top mount. The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a Macpherson strut type suspension which means that the shock absorber will turn when a steering input is placed on the vehicle. In order for this is occur smoothly, a bearing is fitted on top of the spring platform made of a specific nylon based material with a rubber seal to reduce the ingress of dirt. As the suspension actuates over time, stress if placed on the enclosed bearing causing them to wear. This wear translates into play within the top mount which can manifest into a knocking sound, poor tracking and play within the suspension.

The Genuine Nissan bearing washer is a direct replacement for the worn original and promotes smooth, quiet and safe operation of the suspension system when steering and comes complete with the bearing and rubber dust guard for a long and effective service life.
