Description

The brake master cylinder is a critical component of the hydraulic braking system on the Nissan Figaro. Connected via the brake servo directly to the brake pedal, the brake master cylinder is responsible for supplying brake fluid to the brake calipers and rear brake cylinders and over time can fail due to corrosion and wearing of the internal piston seals. The failure allows brake fluid to bypass the internal seals meaning a loss of brake pressure being distributed correctly and internal leaking. This will mean that the braking system is no longer efficient and in the worst cases can become totally inoperative.

Fitting a remanufactured brake master cylinder will breathe a new lease of life to the vehicles’ braking system. The master cylinder has been fully stripped down, bored, lined with a stainless steel insert, rebuilt with all new custom made seals and comes with a 12m / 12,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first).
