Nissan Figaro Remanufactured Radiator

Description

The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a copper and brass radiator that has a transmission cooler inbuilt to ensure the engine and gearbox maintains the correct coolant temperature. Over the years, the radiator can corrode internally and cause leaks and clogging that can be extremely detrimental to the radiators ability to keep the engines’ coolant flowing efficiently and its ability to keep the engine cool. As water escapes the system, it can cause the engine to overheat and lead to major issues like headgasket failures, warped heads and in the worst cases, the need for a reconditioned engine.

We are able to recondition radiators by replacing the main core of the unit with a brand new item whilst retaining the top and bottom tanks and transmission cooler in the base of the radiator. The radiator is stripped down to its component parts, tanks and checked, cleaned and painted and an all new core is fitted. Once this process is completed, each radiator and cooler is pressure tested before receiving a protective black paint coating to extend its lifetime. We always recommend fitting a new fan switch, radiator cap and radiator drain plug when replacing the radiator to ensure the system is working perfectly.
