Description

The Nissan Figaro, as it ages, will require routine maintenance to ensure it is mechanically sound and at its most reliable. Ensuring the valve clearances are set correctly and maintained is paramount for the greatest reliability. Over time, the specially designed bolts stretch and become loose. This can cause the clearances to be out of specification and require replacement. Tightening the stretched old bolts can cause damage to the aluminium cylinder head.

The bolts are sold as a set of 2 and are identified as the long bolts that retain the rocker shaft assembly and protrude throught the valve cover to retain the cover to the cyinder head.  These double threaded specially designed fasteners come as part of our comprehensive Rocker Re-Tension kit available HERE but are now available to purchase in a set of 2
