Nissan Figaro Silicone Fuel Filler Hose

Description

The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a steel fuel tank housing a high pressure pump feeding fuel to the fuel injected MA10 Turbocharged engine. The fuel is fed to the tank through the fuel filler neck and through a rubber tube to connect to the main input body of the fuel tank. The rubber hose, due to it its location and fuel contact begins to harden and perish causing fuel leaks which are a safety concern. The original rubber hose is no longer available from Nissan and is a specific size and shape making replacements hard to find.

Here at The Figaro Shop we are always looking for ways to ensure we develop new parts allowing the Nissan Figaro to live on as long as possible. We have been able to team up with a UK silicone hose manufacturer to allow us to tool and manufacture a direct replacement for the original hard/brittle hose with a modern silicone replacement, Normal re-enforced silicone cannot carry fuel as it is porous so this hose has a very specific fluoro lined inner liner allowing contact with fuel without it breaking down easily like regular hoses.

The hose is a direct replacement for the original and comes complete with new clips for an easy install.
