Through countless hours of research and development, and more so since the development of our upgraded ECU system, we have found that the air resonator box, located above the distributor, is a real spot of inefficiency. The purpose of the box is 2 fold; one is to reduce intake sound and the latter is to provide a connection between the oil breather and the air intake system. As manufacturers always seek ways to reduce manufacturing costs, this “box” is manufactured from plastic to a budget meaning that efficiency was not paramount in it’s design.

We are now able to offer a solution for this inefficiency with our “Power Pipe” resonator delete product. This product bolts in the exact position of the original resonator box and is built for efficiency as the paramount objective. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel and fully tig welded with a plasma cut bespoke lower bracket, this pipe is a direct replacement for the original box and is super simple to fit. The restriction free pipe not only looks great, but improves response and may promote even better efficiency using our upgraded ECU system or the original system.
