The Nissan Figaro is equipped with a 4 cylinder, turbocharged and fuel injected MA10ET powerplant designed specifically for the chassis. The platform uses 4 ECU controlled, sequentially fired injectors to inject highly atomised fuel into the combustion chamber for efficient mixing of the fuel and air to gain the best and most effective combustion of fuel. This Fuel is distributed to each individual injector using a fuel rail.

Albeit very reliable, the fuel rails rarely fail but can begin to corrode from the outside and look unsightly.
