Nissan PAO Reconditioned Power Steering Pump

As an optional extra, the Nissan PAO was equipped with a hydraulic power steering system. This high pressure  system is designed to assist the driver of the vehicle to steer with ease with hydraulic assistance from the system. The System comprises of 2 main components; the steering rack and power steering pump.

The pump itself is the heart of the hydraulic system by converting low pressure steering fluid from the reservoir to high pressure to feed the steering rack. Over time, the pump can wear out from lack of maintenance, low fluid supply from a faulty seal / steering rack or age causing the pump to become ineffective and very noisy. Here at The Figaro Shop, we are always looking for ways to ensure we have all bases covered to ensure your Nissan Pao has a vast range of replacement parts in order to keep your vehicle safely on the road and our reconditioned power steering pump is just one of those products. The pumps work strictly on an exchange basis and are fully stripped, cleaned, inspected, repaired and fitted with all new seals, tested on a purpose made jig and painted in a corrosion inhibiting black paint for years more reliable service. The pumps are a direct replacement for the original fitted to the Nissan PAO and we always recommend a technician with hydraulic system experience flushes and bleeds the system before fitting the new pump.
