The Nissan Figaros’ iconic folding roof is covered in an ivory coloured vinyl trimming which is hard wearing, foldable and weather resistant but over time, the low grade vinyl has a tendancy to shrink, fade and tear causing the rear frame to corrode much more quickly. The original rear frame on the vehicle also has a tendancy to corrode from the inside out causing the vinyl to blister and tarnish.

The rear frame vinyl is a perfect match for the full replacement hood kits we offer. Cut from the same batch of vinyl for a guaranteed match, we use only the finest marine grade materials which are far more hard wearing, more resistant to shrinking, tearing and cracking for a “fit and forget” installation. The more robust material can be fitted by the DIY enthusias and only requires the purchase of a high grade contact adhesive available at any good hardware store. Even in hot climates and climates with greatly varying seasons, the new material can withstand direct sunlight and poor weather for years to come.
