The Nissan Figaros’ coolant system is a critical area of the vehicle to check and maintain as a failure of any component of the system can cause expensive repair bills. As the vehicle ages, some of the rubber seals within the system can perish and cause hidden leaks which in turn can cause overheating issues. The water pump outlet pipe is no exception to this; fitted to rear of the water pump housing, the main water pump pipe feeds water to the heater matrix, turbo and radiator and is sealed into the back of the water pump housing using a specially sized O ring seal.
