Nissan Figaro Clarion Stereo Upgrade

These stereo’s are an upgrade to the original unit. Giving up to date functionality with the original look and feel of the Figaro stereo.

We offer 3 different levels of refurbishment as listed below. The stereos are sold on exchange only. If you do not have a unit to exchange please contact us directly. You also have the option to send your unit prior to arrival of the new one or pay a £150 surcharge and send your unit on once the new one arrives.  There is a choice of 3 different speakers or none at all the choice is yours.

Level 1:

The level 1 upgrade features a digital screen for easy readability, an upgraded cd player with MP3 and WMA file playback compatibility, a 3.5mm Jack input for playback of any music device with a headphone socket, a USB socket for playback of IPod, IPhone and mass storage devices. 

Level 2:

The level 2 upgrade features a digital screen for easy readability, an upgraded cd player with MP3 and WMA file playback compatibility, a 3.5mm Jack input for playback of any music device with a headphone socket, a USB socket for playback of IPod, IPhone and mass storage devices and a full Parrot bluetooth phone kit. Parrot are know for their expertise in the bluetooth field.

Level 3:

The level 3 upgrade features a digital screen for easy readability, an upgraded cd player with MP3 and WMA file playback compatibility, a 3.5mm Jack input for playback of any music device with a headphone socket, a USB socket for playback of IPod, IPhone and mass storage devices, a full Parrot bluetooth Handsfree phone kit. Parrot are know for their expertise in the bluetooth field. The Level 3 also includes DAB radio giving you access to dozens of radio stations not available via FM reception with incredible clarity compared to FM/AM.

Speaker Options:

Alpine:

These are a pair of Alpine speakers to upgrade the originals, these really do make a huge difference to the the 20+ year old paper cone originals. They are the same size as the originals so they fit in the same speaker pod with just the screw holes in a slightly different position, the original speaker pod is a plastic so drilling new holes for the mounting screws is very simple.

These speakers make a huge difference in sound and even more so if you already have a Clarion upgraded stereo.  They are 150w so can handle more volume and reproduce bass more effectively.

Kicker:

Here we have a pair of Kicker CS Series upgraded speakers for the Nissan Figaro. The new CS Series range from Kicker are a huge upgrade from the original paper coned items originally fitted in the Figaro. They are the same size as the originals so they fit in the same speaker pod with just the screw holes in a slightly different position, the original speaker pod is a plastic so drilling new holes for the mounting screws is very simple. Slight trimming of the speaker’s universal frame may be required.

The CS Series delivers remarkable performance and ultra-clean bass, utilizing a heavy-duty motor/magnet structure featuring EVC™ (Extended Voice Coil) technology not found in stock speakers. They use polypropylene cones with tough, ribbed, UV-treated surrounds for precise linear excursion and reliability.

The CS 4 x 6 Inch Coaxial Speakers are an excellent factory upgrade.

A stamped steel framework supports a rigid polypropylene cone for excellent audio quality. Using zero protrusion PEI tweeters ensures you get every bit of detail you need, without interfering with factory grilles.

These CS speakers work best with 50 watts of recommended power

Hertz:

These are a pair of Hertz speakers to upgrade the originals in a Nissan Figaro. These really do make a huge difference to the the 20+ year old paper cone originals. This 2-way coax speaker is designed to satisfy specific installation and listening needs. The new Hertz features a neodymium magnet, PEI dome tweeter, built-in crossover, TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) surround and a copper mobile voice coil wound on conex former. An extremely light, yet stiff structure ensures linear frequency response and a high sensitivity level.
